What it does

Installs from Steam

The app fetches the Steam command-line tool and the Palworld dedicated server, then writes the configuration for you. No commands to type, no files to open.

All 122 settings, as a form

The entire server configuration file as checkboxes, dropdowns and sliders, every option with its explanation. The game's 588 technologies are allowed or blocked from the same screen.

Backups and rollback

Backups on demand or at the hours you pick, with older ones rotated out, and a previous world restored in a few clicks.

Crash guardian

If the server crashes or freezes, the app brings it back without you, and gives up after three failed attempts rather than hammering away. It also spots game updates: it warns your players, applies the update, then puts the server back online.

Admin and players

Admin commands as buttons or as free text, the list of connected players, kick, ban, whitelist, and messages shown in game.

Mods and plugins

A mod library, a PalDefender tab, and the PalApi plugin engine installed from the app. Every plugin you drop in tells you whether it will actually load at the next start — and, when it will not, what is missing.

What works, depending on your host

A rented VPS or Windows box that stays powered on

Everything works

This is the comfortable case: the machine never goes to sleep, so neither does the server. You do have to leave the app running — it is the app that holds the server up.

Your own Windows PC

Everything works, while the PC is running

Nothing is missing, but everything rides on your machine: shut it down, let it sleep, or close the app, and your players drop that same second.

A Palworld host with a web panel only, or a Linux machine

Not compatible

The app installs and launches the server itself, on Windows. With a host that only hands you a web panel, there is nothing for it to drive. Check this before you download.

What you need

A Windows machine, powered on while people play

Your PC, a small server or a VPS. The game server runs on that machine, not on ours — we provide no hosting of any kind.

A way to download the dedicated server

It is pulled from Steam on first install. No Steam account is asked for, and you do not need to own Palworld on that machine.

One port open to the outside

Your players connect straight to your machine. On a home connection that means a port forward on your router; with a host, a firewall rule.

Clicking past a Windows warning at install time

The installer is not signed, so Windows says "unknown publisher". The file's checksum is published on the help page so you can confirm the file is ours.

Plain limits

Closing the app stops the servers it started.

This is not a Windows service: close the window, shut the machine down or let it sleep, and your players drop within the second. This has happened for real, on a production server.

Windows only.

No macOS build, no Linux build, and nothing for console servers.

It runs Palworld servers and nothing else.

No other game is supported: on a machine hosting anything else, this app is of no use to you.

It does not install from the Bastion Service launcher.

It is a second download with its own installer — the only product of ours in that situation.

We host nothing and keep no copy of your worlds.

The machine, the connection and your backups stay entirely yours — and so does keeping them safe.
